I, nor any other Tigertiger Face Painters will not paint the face of any child who has conjunctivitis, cold sores, a conspicuously runny nose or warts.   These are all highly contagious and we won't risk cross infection with other children. In these cases, a cheek, arm, wrist or ankle can be painted instead.  I have many exciting "tattoo" type designs, such as flowers, dolphins, sharks, scorpions, tiger stripes and many more. No child will be disappointed!


Children remain the responsibility of their parents or party organisers at all times.  Children absolutely love having their faces painted and years of experience have shown that it is most enjoyable for them in a safe environment. Younger children should therefore be well supervised whilst they are waiting, to avoid accidents caused by the chairs and paint table being knocked and jogged.


I, nor any other Tigertiger Face Painters will not paint any child who does not want to be painted.  Every child, however young, decides for themselves whether or not they want their face painted and in the case of obvious reluctance, we always acknowledge the wishes of the child.
 This is not to be confused with shyness, however. A shy child, who nonetheless appears to want to be painted, can usually be coaxed forward.  To make them feel more secure, they can sit on Mum or Dad's knee.  A very quick, colourful design on the back of their hand, usually gives them the confidence to have their face painted.  Very shy children can usually be coaxed forward by a quick dolphin on Mum or Dad's hand. We work hard to ensure every child is happy with their face painting and have found these tactics work wonders. It is worth that little bit of extra patience.
